Masters in Hydrology and Hydrogeology

Graduates of the Hydrology and Hydrogeology master study program gained general and specialized knowledge of phenomena and processes in the hydrosphere and influences of human activities on water resources and water circulation on Earth including impact on surface water and groundwater. During the studies, they gained knowledge of hydrology, hydrogeology, hydrochemistry and water treatment, information about water ecosystems and mastered laboratory and field methods, remote sensing, GIS and methods of mathematical and numerical modeling. The graduates are capable of solving partial and complex tasks of practice, and applying the latest achievements of the field. They are prepared for further scientific career as well as for practical employment in public administration or private sector.
