The goal of the program is to expand the knowledge and skills acquired in the bachelor's degree of this or a similar study program. As part of the master's study program, the emphasis is, similarly to the bachelor's degree, on knowledge in the field of development studies, development opportunities in selected regions and environmental studies. The study plan includes compulsory subjects common to development and environmental studies and compulsory optional subjects for development or environmental focus of study.
