Masters in Applied Geology

Graduates have broad knowledge of geology, basic knowledge of mathematics, physics and chemistry. They attended specialized lectures in hydrogeology, engineering geology and applied geophysics. Their specific focus is primarily on the exploration of groundwater resources, optimization of their use and their protection, design and implementation of remediation of contaminated sites, exploratory work for demanding structures (tunnels, dams, highway and railway bodies), assessment of slope stability and landslide remediation, impact assessment on the environment and its monitoring, determining the composition and inhomogeneity of the rock environment by measuring and interpreting different physical fields.
