Program Overview

Geobiology is a new interdisciplinary, follow-up master's study at the Geological and Biological Section of the Faculty of Science, Charles University. It focuses on the interaction between living and inanimate parts of ecosystems. In six areas (Evolution of Fossil Ecosystems, Paleobiological Aspects of Organ Evolution, Taphonomy, Historical Biogeography, Quaternary Paleoecology, Geomicrobiology will profile graduates in selected areas of the progressive science of geobiology. Unlike the Bachelor's degree in Practical Geobiology, this is a purely scientific field.
