Program Overview

Graduates have a broad knowledge of geology, basic knowledge of engineering geology, hydrogeology, applied geophysics. They attended specialized lectures on geology, paleontology, mineralogy, petrology, geochemistry and deposit geology, which authorize them according to Act 62/1998 Coll. perform geological work, basic and applied scientific research and development in the field of earth sciences. They are prepared to analyze the rock environment, its structure, physical and chemical parameters and to study the processes of interactions and migration of substances between the rock environment, atmosphere and hydrosphere. Graduates will find employment as geologists or responsible managers in private companies, government, and research.

A completed Bachelor s degree , an official transcript of records from your previous university studies, an official translation of the two above into Czech (translation is not required if the original documents were issued in English), a certificate of equivalence from Czech educational authorities which states that your certificate/diploma is recognised in the Czech Republic (called nostrification ), if you completed your previous education abroad, TOEFL ibT of 80, IELTS of 6.5, IB English 6, Melab 77, TOEIC 605
