Program Overview

Graduates have acquired extensive knowledge of German and French philosophy of the 18th and 19th centuries, classical and contemporary phenomenology in Germany and France, as well as other contemporary philosophy in these two languages, and are familiar with their reception in the Czech-speaking world. The graduates are prepared for subsequent doctoral studies and corresponding work in academic and scientific institutions. Thanks to the acquired technical and linguistic competencies, they are also able to work in the cultural policy management of the state and non-governmental sector nationally as well as internationally, in the media or in publishers.
