Program Overview

The study program includes basic linguistics, literary studies and translation studies, which are supplemented by compulsory optional theoretical and practically focused disciplines, enabling students to develop their specific profile. The aim of the study is to achieve deep knowledge of linguistic and literary disciplines and advanced language competence at level C2 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. Within linguistic disciplines, this involves further deepening of knowledge in the field of synchronic linguistics (stylistics, current trends in contemporary language, phraseology, textual linguistics), as well as a diachronic view of language (historical grammar)
