Program Overview

The follow-up master's study program in Polish Philology follows on from the bachelor's study program and focuses on deepening language skills and expanding the theoretical knowledge acquired in the previous study. The goal of the two-year study is to achieve thorough knowledge of the relevant linguistic and literary disciplines. You will deepen your knowledge of stylistics, the language culture of Polish, Polish phraseology, text linguistics, you will gain a diachronic view of the language, you will deepen your knowledge of the methodology of literary science and modern Polish literature. You will be guided through your studies by experienced pedagogues and scientists from our department, as well as leading Polish and foreign polonists who come to us for short teaching stays.
