Program Overview

The course is intended primarily for graduates of the bachelor's degree in Spanish philology. It takes place in parallel in the field of linguistics and literary studies, at the same time the knowledge of the practical language, culture and history of the Spanish-speaking world is systematically deepened. In the field of linguistics, emphasis is placed on text linguistics in its various forms and theoretical and practical mastery of all the main stylistic forms of the written language. Emphasis is also placed on the historical development and formation of Spanish as a written language. In the field of literary studies, students deepen their knowledge of Spanish-written literature, focusing on the literature of the Middle Ages and the Golden Age. As part of the study program, in addition to basic subjects, students have the opportunity to attend optional lectures and seminars on the history of art and the history of the given language area.
