Program Overview

The aim of the field of study is, in connection with the Bachelor's degree, to educate university-educated professionals in the field of contemporary history and oral history at the Master's university level. The study program is a continuation of the bachelor study programs of social sciences and humanities and focuses on the very promising issues of contemporary history in a wide interdisciplinary, geographical and time concept. The discipline allows students to profile in two segments. The historical direction alongside the core subjects in the main menu allows specialization in specific topics interpreted in an international and interdisciplinary context.

A completed Bachelor s degree , an official transcript of records from your previous university studies, an official translation of the two above into Czech (translation is not required if the original documents were issued in English), a certificate of equivalence from Czech educational authorities which states that your certificate/diploma is recognised in the Czech Republic (called nostrification ), if you completed your previous education abroad, TOEFL ibT of 80, IELTS of 6.5, IB English 6, Melab 77, TOEIC 605
