The goal of specialization in communication studies is the acquisition of expert knowledge within the broader framework of communication as such (epistemological aspects of communication) with the deepening of specialized knowledge linked on the one hand to various types of theoretical-methodological approaches within the study of communication (paradigms, schools, etc.), as well as to on the other hand, the acquisition of specific analytical tools and procedures for examining various aspects and types of communication, especially interpersonal communication.
