However, current technological development offers many opportunities for the use of technology as tools for supporting a healthy lifestyle or optimizing sports performance. This is an exciting field referred to as ""eHealth"" or ""mHealth"" (in the case of mobile technologies) that combines IT technology and engineering with their applications in biomedicine, public health, health psychology, sports and behavioral sciences.
