Program Overview

The goal of the Applied Physiotherapy study program is to expand the knowledge and skills acquired as part of the bachelor's degree in physiotherapy. Students are prepared to manage the most diagnostically and therapeutically demanding conditions in the range of diagnoses falling within the field of medical rehabilitation by providing specialized physiotherapeutic care through specialized methodologies and concepts. Students are guided to a scientific way of working and to the ability to apply the latest knowledge from the field of rehabilitation and physiotherapy within the framework of multidisciplinary individualized care for patients with functional and organic disorders of the locomotor and nervous system, including painful conditions of the locomotor system, and for patients with diagnoses in the fields of surgery, traumatology, orthopedics , internal clinical fields, neurology, physical education medicine, urogynecology, pediatrics and geriatrics, including the specifics of palliative care.
