Financial and actuarial mathematics provides education in theoretical and applied knowledge in financial and actuarial mathematics. Based on solid mathematical foundations, the disciplines of mathematical modeling in insurance, banking and other financial institutions are developed. The graduate is able to create financial and insurance products and analyze them in terms of profitability and risk. Gaining the education needed for granting a certificate of competence to perform actuarial activity, which is issued by the Czech Society of Actuaries to its members meeting the criteria of internationally recognized actuarial education.
