2 Years On Campus Masters Program

Charles University

Program Overview

The aim of the master study program Religionistics (program is without specialization) is to profile students into one of the two provided orientations and to enable them to penetrate the field of religious studies significantly deeper than at the bachelor's degree. One focus is on the forms of contemporary monotheistic religions (Judaism, Christianity, Islam), and the other aspects of contemporary religiosity and spirituality. The graduate is thus equipped with high-quality knowledge in the field of religious studies and other compulsory optional subjects extend this knowledge and give him effective tools for analysis and contextualization of individual phenomena. Thanks to a deeper immersion in theoretical and methodological questions in compulsory subjects, the graduate is able to participate in the religious scholarly discussion in the form of an independent research work.
