Program Overview

The follow-up Master's degree program in Judaism (program without specialization) is focused on acquiring basic knowledge in the field of Judaism, ie research on Judaism as a religious system, whose values are one of the spiritual foundations of Europe in addition to Christianity. The follow-up master's study equips graduates with advanced knowledge of source languages (Hebrew, Aramaic) and modern Hebrew (ivrit), rabbinic literature, Jewish mysticism, and Jewish philosophy. Thematically, the study program is focused on rabbinic literature, Jewish mysticism and Jewish philosophy, and this knowledge is verified by the state final examination. The aim of the follow-up master's study is to prepare graduates for the application of acquired knowledge in practice, or for further study of Jewish studies and other fields in doctoral study programs.
