Program Overview

The master's single-field study of philosophy (separate study program) is a continuation of the bachelor's study and lasts two years. Its content includes special disciplines of systematic philosophy - metaphysics, epistemology, philosophy of language, ethics, philosophy of science and philosophy of man. Particular emphasis is placed on familiarizing students with the current results of special sciences and their philosophical reflection, as well as the nature and methodology of science in general. However, a student can also specialize in the history of philosophy as part of compulsory optional subjects. In this phase of study, the student should apply and develop his specific philosophical interests.
