Program Overview

The study of the follow-up master's study program in Biochemistry prepares university-educated experts who have deep theoretical and practical knowledge acquired through the study of specialized biochemical and molecular biological disciplines, which enable them to orient themselves quickly and creatively in new issues according to the requirements of practice. Expanding the basic knowledge of biochemistry acquired as part of the bachelor's degree is achieved by attending specialist lectures focused on, for example, the field of enzymology, regulatory processes in metabolic pathways, issues of molecular biology, cloning and genetic engineering, modern biotechnological approaches, clinical biochemistry, forensic chemistry and phytochemistry.
