Program Overview

The study program Biophysics is a borderline field between physics, chemistry and biology, which, thanks to its multidisciplinarity, provides a comprehensive view of the processes taking place in living systems. The follow-up master's study of the Biophysics study program expands and deepens the knowledge acquired during the Bachelor's study of the Biophysics study program, especially in the field of quantum theory of molecules, advanced experimental methods of biophysics and molecular biophysics. Students will deepen their knowledge of the physical nature of biological phenomena and processes and of physical and chemical experimental and theoretical methods used in natural sciences and medicine. The content of the study reflects the current development of these methods.
