Program Overview

Experimental Plant Biology deals with the study of plant construction and their life functions. Basic life processes in plants - photosynthesis, breathing, water regime, mineral nutrition, transport of substances and energy in plants, growth and development are studied at the level of plants as a whole and at levels of organs, tissues, cells and subcellular structures, environmental factors, including stress factors. It uses a wide range of methods, mainly microscopic, biochemical, biophysical and molecular biological. Within the field of study, graduates can choose according to the curriculum in two master's degrees.
