Program Overview

"The graduate of the master study program ""Parasitology"" has a comprehensive knowledge of parasitic organisms (parasitic protists, helminths and arthropods), especially their morphology, ecology, systematic classification, molecular biology, biochemistry and physiology, pathogenicity, epidemiology and diagnostics. The study links classical (descriptive) and modern (experimental) approaches with emphasis on parasite-host interactions. Graduates will apply in basic and applied research in parasitology or related disciplines (cell biology, immunology, microbiology, zoology), at universities and in medical and veterinary diagnostic laboratories. Involvement of students in international projects enables them to be employed abroad."

A completed Bachelor s degree , an official transcript of records from your previous university studies, an official translation of the two above into Czech (translation is not required if the original documents were issued in English), a certificate of equivalence from Czech educational authorities which states that your certificate/diploma is recognised in the Czech Republic (called nostrification ), if you completed your previous education abroad, TOEFL ibT of 80, IELTS of 6.5, IB English 6, Melab 77, TOEIC 605
