Program Overview

The graduate possesses extensive theoretical and practical knowledge of physiological and pathophysiological gametogenesis, fertilization and embryonic development. The emphasis is put on the understanding of evolutionary consequences of ontogenesis from invertebrate roundworm (C. elegans) to mammals including human. Beside theoretical courses graduate has the opportunity to learn state-of-the-art molecular-biological, microscopic and micromanipulation techniques. Since many courses are taught in English, the graduate would be able to communicate effectively in English. Finally, a graduate will be prepared for the subsequent PhD study at domestic or foreign universities.
