Program Overview

The study is a follow-up to the bachelor's degree in biology, but bachelors from medical, agricultural, mathematical and physical fields can also apply. It is assumed that bachelors of non-biological disciplines will complement their biological education by selecting basic courses in biology according to the focus of the thesis. Preparation for scientific work in the areas of theoretical reflection of biological data (mathematical or philosophical) and in the field of history of biology. Graduates have the prerequisites to continue their doctoral degree programs, especially two programs accredited directly at the department.

A completed Bachelor s degree , an official transcript of records from your previous university studies, an official translation of the two above into Czech (translation is not required if the original documents were issued in English), a certificate of equivalence from Czech educational authorities which states that your certificate/diploma is recognised in the Czech Republic (called nostrification ), if you completed your previous education abroad, TOEFL ibT of 80, IELTS of 6.5, IB English 6, Melab 77, TOEIC 605
