Program Overview

"The master's study program in botany follows the bachelor's degree program in biology. The program enables the study of all botanical disciplines, including borderline and applied ones in the sense of ""Plant sciences"", i.e. microbiology, algology, mycology, bryology, lichenology, botany of vascular plants, plant ecology, plant physiology, genetics, protection of the phytogene pool, phytocenology. The program is maximally open, classic botanical approaches are combined with approaches from other disciplines (biophysics, biochemistry, molecular biology). This provides high adaptability of graduates and the possibility of their good application in practice."
