Cell and developmental biology is concerned with the study of cell regulation and morphogenesis at the molecular level. The subject of interest is a cell, a conceptual basis of contemporary biology, as well as sets of cells and their interactions - a multicellular organism and its ontogenetic development. The study focused on the issue of cellular regulation in mono- and multicellular organisms and on the issues of the differentiation and mechanisms of cell and tissue differentiation in evolving systems, both standard and pathology.
