Palacky University

Program Overview

The follow-up master's study program Nanomaterial Chemistry is focused on the profiling of graduates towards practice in the position of a university-educated specialist capable of handling the requirements not only of industrial but also of research chemistry with a specialization in the field of material and nanomaterial chemistry. For this reason, in addition to the theoretical subjects of basic disciplines such as nanomaterials, heterogeneous systems or mechanical properties of materials, other subjects taught in the form of practical exercises are also included in the study program, which will enable graduates to successfully apply them in practice. These subjects related to the application of theoretical knowledge of chemistry in practice include spectroscopic methods and modern microscopic methods, advanced laboratory exercises, exercises in materials research methods and polymers.
