Masters in Biophysics and Chemical Physics

The focus of these fields lies on the boundaries of physics, biology and chemistry. The course builds on the basic physical education, which deepens in the areas of theoretical and experimental physics important for the description and investigation of molecules, biopolymers, supramolecular systems and biological objects, and at the same time it is complemented by subjects covering the necessary parts of chemistry and biology. Graduates will acquire theoretical knowledge of quantum theory, quantum chemistry, molecular modeling and molecular processes, as well as experimental methods of biophysics and chemical physics, especially optical and other spectroscopic methods, structural analysis and imaging techniques.
