Program Overview

"The term ""theoretical physics"" means an approach to scientific research rather than a specific field of physics. As a field of study, it introduces students deeper to the mathematical methods and basic pillars of modern physics, relativity theory, and quantum theory, and their basic applications in cosmology and astrophysics, atomic physics, and condensed state physics. According to the focus of the thesis, the students are introduced to the theoretical background of other areas of physics such as plasma physics, chemical physics, nuclear and subnuclear physics, classical continuum mechanics, etc."

A completed Bachelor s degree , an official transcript of records from your previous university studies, an official translation of the two above into Czech (translation is not required if the original documents were issued in English), a certificate of equivalence from Czech educational authorities which states that your certificate/diploma is recognised in the Czech Republic (called nostrification ), if you completed your previous education abroad, TOEFL ibT of 80, IELTS of 6.5, IB English 6, Melab 77, TOEIC 605
