Program Overview

The Master's program in Asian Studies offers continuing education to students of Chinese, Indonesian, Japanese, Korean and Vietnamese. The study is either general, focused on Asian cultures from the perspective of the humanities and social sciences, or with a specialization in individual Asian languages. The subjects are divided into modules (i) linguistics, (ii) literature, (iii) society and culture, and also include subjects developing knowledge for practice. In addition, students specializing in Asian languages have the opportunity to study translation and interpreting.
