Masters in Asian studies with specialization in Korean language and culture

2 Years On Campus Masters Program

Palacky University

Program Overview

The master's degree smoothly follows on from the previous bachelor's degree and continues to develop practical knowledge of Korean, but more space is also devoted to the theoretical level. The student has the opportunity to attend specifically focused language seminars, such as translation and interpretation seminars, etc., which contribute to a comprehensive picture of the various forms of Korean. With an appropriate composition of basic and optional subjects, students further deepen their knowledge in the field of Korean history, literature, culture and thought and other areas. Unlike a bachelor's degree, the emphasis is on a more detailed examination of selected topics within the seminars.
