Program Overview

The aim of the Master's degree in Economics and Finance is to prepare experts in economics and finance. The study is intended for graduates of bachelor study, respectively. its equivalent, or even university graduates who are interested in deepening their knowledge in the field. The subject includes compulsory subjects extending general knowledge of advanced microeconomics, macroeconomics and econometrics. In addition, it allows closer specialization in one of two areas: 1) economic theory and modeling, 2) finance, banking and financial markets. Each specialization includes a given number of compulsory-specialization courses.

A completed Bachelor s degree , an official transcript of records from your previous university studies, an official translation of the two above into Czech (translation is not required if the original documents were issued in English), a certificate of equivalence from Czech educational authorities which states that your certificate/diploma is recognised in the Czech Republic (called nostrification ), if you completed your previous education abroad, TOEFL ibT of 80, IELTS of 6.5, IB English 6, Melab 77, TOEIC 605
