Program Overview

The main aim of the two-year master's program in economics is education in all basic areas of theoretical and empirical economics, which will provide graduates with high-quality preparation for joining an already running top doctoral program in economics, or for direct application in practice as top economic analysts and consultants. The program focuses on key areas of economic theory and econometrics, along the lines of top European Master in Economic Research programs offered at the London School of Economics, the University of Cambridge or Tilburg University. The general knowledge of the graduate is knowledge of advanced mathematical methods and passive and active control of English.

A completed Bachelor s degree , an official transcript of records from your previous university studies, an official translation of the two above into Czech (translation is not required if the original documents were issued in English), a certificate of equivalence from Czech educational authorities which states that your certificate/diploma is recognised in the Czech Republic (called nostrification ), if you completed your previous education abroad, TOEFL ibT of 80, IELTS of 6.5, IB English 6, Melab 77, TOEIC 605
