Program Overview

The field is based on modern knowledge of many scientific fields dealing with landscape, its components, dynamics and interactions. It represents the intersection of disciplines, enabling to deepen the fundamentals of natural science (physical geography and geoecology, geology, biology), technical (cartography, geoinformatics, remote sensing - remote sensing) and social disciplines (social geography, sociology, history, law). The aim is to achieve theoretical and practical skills for obtaining data on landscape and its components, working with them using GIS, remote sensing, aerial imagery, modeling.
