Program Overview

The study is intended for graduates of bachelor's degree in political science or other social sciences who are interested in extending their knowledge in the field of political science, especially in the field of political theory, methodology and comparative political science. The program enables specialization in the issues of the Czech political system and democracy in EU countries (analysis of political parties, party systems and coalition theory), issues related to the topic of decentralization and multi-level governance (municipal issues). There are also subjects taught in English in the curriculum, so it is necessary for the student to have an adequate knowledge of the language.

A completed Bachelor s degree , an official transcript of records from your previous university studies, an official translation of the two above into Czech (translation is not required if the original documents were issued in English), a certificate of equivalence from Czech educational authorities which states that your certificate/diploma is recognised in the Czech Republic (called nostrification ), if you completed your previous education abroad, TOEFL ibT of 80, IELTS of 6.5, IB English 6, Melab 77, TOEIC 605
