Program Overview

The theory and history of fine arts program with a specialization in heritage conservation includes professional training in individual substantive (architecture, painting, sculpture, artistic crafts) and temporally defined periods of the history of fine arts in Europe, in theoretical areas (historiography, iconography) and in areas in which the knowledge and skills acquired in theoretical subjects are combined with the requirements of practice given by the comprehensive care of cultural heritage (museology, monumentology, evidence and documentation of works of art and their interpretation).
