Program Overview

The graduate masters the application of art and restoration techniques, methodological and working procedures of conservation and restoration work on works of art and art-crafts on a textile substrate. He is familiar with the specifics of paintings on textiles, with historical and modern materials and procedures used in their conservation and restoration. He is ready to participate in the preparation and implementation of restoration projects that go beyond the problem of a solitary work of art, he is also capable of a comprehensive view of the process of monument protection. They can apply the acquired knowledge in practice, both in preventive care and in the restoration of works of art and arts and crafts on textile supports exposed to long-term adverse effects of the environment and during restoration work in the workshop or directly in the field.
