Program Overview

The graduate is prepared independently or in a specialized team to responsibly solve the issue of conservation and restoration of works of book culture and documents, following the ethical principles of the intervention, to choose appropriate conservation/restoration procedures and used materials. In addition to the actual intervention on the object, with the acquired knowledge, he is able to comprehensively solve the issue of preventive care for funds consisting of works of book culture and documents on paper and parchment mats and related materials. The graduate is qualified to take care of historical book collections and carry out surveys of historical and modern book collections and collection collections consisting of arts and crafts objects made on paper and parchment.
