Information research is the science of communication. It is an anthropology with an interest in the interaction between people and knowledge in the context of everyday life and work. In your studies, you will learn how people and communities acquire, evaluate, organize, share, and produce information using a variety of information and communication technologies. In addition, you will learn about the effectiveness of information and literacy in a variety of contexts, such as health and climate. You will learn about information law and ethics as well as research methods in your studies.
