Master of Science in Biology

Education provides students with an insight into the basic phenomena and mechanisms of life, from the molecular to the ecosystem. The student acquires basic knowledge of the evolution and diversity of the community; the characteristics, structure, functions and regulation of genes, cells and organisms; and the behavior and interaction of organisms. Students will acquire the basic skills of scientific research, which will enable them to search for and produce biological research data, to process data using statistical and bioinformatics methods, and to be critical and analytical in their knowledge. The student learns essential molecular biology methods in up-to-date laboratories, field work methods and nature reading in field courses
