2 Years On Campus Masters Program

Charles de Gaulle University Lille III

Program Overview

The Master Arts course Theories and practices of contemporary theateroffers additional training in professions related to the design of shows and their distribution. It allows students to study the contemporary scene, French and foreign, from an angle that combines theory (aesthetics, dramaturgy, cultural policies, anthropology) and practice (acting, scenic and dramatic writing, staging, lighting design). Experimentation through workshops and laboratories as well as theoretical reflection on the different forms of the performing arts allow an understanding of the aesthetics of contemporary theatre.
