Masters in Computer Science Internet of Things Journey

2 Years On Campus Masters Program

Charles de Gaulle University Lille III

Program Overview

The objects of our daily life are now equipped with sensors and processors, and often connected in networks: in buildings to reduce their energy consumption, in cars to help with driving, in medical devices, etc. We are talking about the Internet of Things. The spread of on-board electronics poses new challenges in the design, production and management of these devices. We must first guarantee security so as not to transform them into instruments of mass surveillance. Specific attention is needed to the use of resources and energy consumption to reduce their ecological footprint. Some decisions made by an algorithm can endanger human life, so these systems must be corrected.
