Program Overview

The LTTAC course provides a qualification in linguistic engineering in line with new information and communication technologies. Based on the elaboration of lexical descriptions for dictionaries, it approaches the phase of constitution of corpora and exploration of the latter to document lexical uses, that of linguistic analysis of observed uses, that of writing articles of dictionaries and lexical resources and that of desktop publishing to generate electronic and printed dictionaries. The skills acquired can be used in all sectors of publishing, for the development of applications and software with a linguistic component (writing aids, translation, etc.), for information retrieval, etc
