The purpose of the Masters in European market and regulatory law is to provide the training in European economic law required for any lawyer who intends to deal with business life and State action in a market economy. The opening up of networked sectors to competition electronic communications, energy, transport, etc. has involved market regulation with a view to reconciling the requirements of competition with other imperatives of general interest. This sectoral regulation cannot be understood without Mastersing the rules of competition and the legal framework in which economic operators and public authorities interact.
