Program Overview

The BIMS courseaims to trainbioinformatics and biostatistician engineersas well asfuture doctoral studentsspecializing in themanagement, processing and analysis of biological data, in particular massive data from very large-scale experimental approaches (qualified experiments ofBig Data) such as: those resulting from new DNA and RNA sequencing technologies (Next Generation Sequencing) or analytical technologies by NMR and high resolution mass spectrometry for the study of proteins, metabolites and molecular structures . The omics sciences taken individually (genomics, metagenomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, metabolomics) such as the integration of multi-omics data (but also clinical, environmental, etc.) and the biology of complex systems are concerned.
