Program Overview

"The course ""Cell biology, genetics and pathologies"" of the mention ""Biology-health"" offers to provide students with a solid training which will allow them to work in various fields having for center of interest the functioning of cells, mainly eukaryotes. The lessons provided concern the most recent knowledge on the various processes that ensure the integrity of cells and their genome, their proliferation, their differentiation, their interaction with their environment and the adaptive reactions triggered by signaling pathways that condition the life, survival or death of cells. An important part of this teaching relates to the pathologies associated with the dysfunction of these mechanisms (of environmental or genetic origin), such as developmental pathologies, neuronal or muscular degeneration, the development of tumors, as well as therapeutic targets. These lessons are based on the expertise of stakeholders, teacher-researchers, researchers, clinicians working in these fields."
