MS Water quality and water treatment

2 Years On Campus Masters Program

University of Poitiers

Program Overview

The Chemistry master's degree is divided into five courses: Green chemistry, catalysis and the environment, Organic chemistry for living organisms, Analytical chemistry and quality, Physics-Chemistry and finally Water quality and treatment. This last master's course prepares students to take on managerial positions at Bac + 5 level in the fields of water analysis and treatment. The skills acquired make it possible to work in analysis laboratories, treatment units (production of drinking water, process water, wastewater treatment) and research centers. This path makes it possible to offer direct professional integration at the end of the Master, facilitated by the possibility for students to complete their master's work-study program either over the two years or only over the second year (apprenticeship or professionalization contract) or deferred integration after pursuing doctoral studies.
