The Master's in Chemistry is divided into five courses: Green chemistry, catalysis and the environment, Organic chemistry for living organisms, Water quality and treatment, Analytical chemistry and quality and finally Physics-Chemistry. This last master's course is offered to students wishing to become high-level specialists in the fields of solid state physics and the physico-chemistry of materials, in particular the properties, characterization and development of materials and nanomaterials. This training is based on the Masters in Chemistry and the Masters in Material Sciences from Poitiers.

The Master in Materials Science aims to train high-level specialists in solid state physics and materials. This training is based on fundamental and thematic courses, in the field of physics in particular, which allow students, whatever the course followed, to understand the major issues related to properties, characterization, and elaboration of materials as well as the physical mechanisms involved.The Physics-Chemistry course allows you to develop a bi-disciplinary profile. It is based on the fundamental courses of the Physics course and of the Masters in Chemistry of the University of Poitiers. The specialization in 2 nd year offers in particular the possibility of pursuing a thesis in chemistry or physics.
