Program Overview

The Master's degree in Art History promotes knowledge and skills for research, for the scientifically backed support of measures to preserve and for communicating the wealth of cultural traditions. Building on a broad subject-specific knowledge, you will learn how to independently apply scientific methods and findings to complex objects and the general conditions of the arts. The course contains a high proportion of courses in front of originals and thus strengthens the knowledge of monuments art techniques, style history, previous and current forms of presentation. Beyond the diversity of individual science, you will be guided to problem-solving across disciplines.
