MA in Film StudiesorMedia Dramaturgy; Media Dramaturgy

The program takes a close cross-media look at dramaturgical activities and staging strategies. The degree program considers aesthetic patterns and narrative design across the various media, covering film, television and theater, radio drama and audio art together with video games and web-based narrative forms. During the course, practice-related trans-medial interfaces and interaction processes are studied and students acquire the capacity to critically examine a wide range of media formats. There is also the option of learning about practical media working procedures and specialized areas such as media law and media management.
