Program Overview

The scope of M.Sc. in Accounting and Finance thus far beyond the limits of these two fields of business.Reflecting the integrated approach of the program, the curriculum requires students to take a minimum of one course from each of the two pillars of accounting and finance. This paves the ground for specialization with advanced field courses in either Accounting or Finance. Alternatively, students can choose a more balanced portfolio of advanced courses in both fields. The courses offered cover analytically challenging fields, such as Continuous-Time Derivatives Pricing, Advanced Corporate Finance or Managerial Accounting.

Additional Information & Requirements

Admission to the M. Sc. in Accounting and Finance requires a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Economics with an average of 210 ECTS credits. Students entering a 3-year Bachelor's degree (amounting to 180 ECTS credits) are required to earn 30 additional ECTS credits. Applicants are expected to have solid intermediate level knowledge in Accounting, Finance and Quantitative Methods (Math and Statistics), Admission is subject to a competitive selection procedure that includes individual interviews with faculty members. Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed in a video conference, Certified copy of your complete list of grade, Certified copy of diploma certificate, Passport Copy, Passport Photo, Applicants must be fluent in both English and German, Foreign applicants must demonstrate their abiliy to study by submitting one of the following two certificates: DSH , at least with the overall result DSH 2 or DSH 3 or TestDaF , in all partial examinations at least with the result 4 or 5 (level) 4 * 4 * 4 * 4. Applicants with a German Bachelor Degree do not need proof of their German language skills, Letter of motivation (max. 1 page) in English or German, CV in tabular format in English or German, Certificate equivalent to the German Abitur certificate
